The idea for 60Something Mag was born out of a passion to redefine aging. Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Rachel, was inspired by her own grandmother's zest for life. Despite being in her 70s, Rachel's grandmother was still traveling, learning new skills, and mentoring young entrepreneurs. Rachel realized that there was a need for a platform that showcased the dynamic lives of people in their 60s and beyond.
The inaugural issue of 60Something Mag hit newsstands with a bold cover featuring a 65-year-old woman who had just completed a triathlon. The headline read: "Age is Just a Number: Meet the Women Redefining Retirement." Inside, readers found stories of entrepreneurs who had started new businesses in their 60s, artists who had discovered their passion for painting in their 70s, and athletes who were still competing at a high level well into their 80s.
As Rachel, the founder, says: "We believe that age is just a number. Join us on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Let's redefine what it means to age with passion, purpose, and joy." Subscribe to 60Something Mag today and become part of a community that celebrates the best of life, at any age.
