: The specific number "4044" typically represents a frame count or a unique identifier within a test set used to demonstrate how an algorithm processes specific environmental conditions (like a beach).
In the context of a "paper," this file name format is commonly associated with:
: If the paper discusses video compression (e.g., HEVC or VVC), files with these naming conventions are often "anchor" sequences used to test how codecs handle complex textures like moving water or sand. Similar References
: Research papers focusing on Human Action Recognition (HAR) or Anomaly Detection often use large datasets like UCF101 , HMDB51 , or proprietary collections where "bs" might stand for "Background Subtraction" or a specific category prefix (e.g., "Beach Scenes").
While "beachsome" appears as a track title in score for the film Eden , its appearance in a "paper" context with a .mp4 extension and numerical suffix strongly points toward a labeled data sample used to train or validate a machine learning model.
Providing the or the general topic of the paper (e.g., AI, surveillance, physics) would help narrow it down.

I’m actually looking forward to checking this one out. Serbian Film would have been better if not for all the hype surrounding the film. Salo ranks up there with this other film Sweet Movie as beautiful repulsing films I’ll never watch again.
I’m equally repulsed and intrigued by the concept of this film though.
