Director Olivia Wilde creates a stunning aesthetic. The mid-century modern production design, saturated colors, and rhythmic, breathy score create a palpable sense of claustrophobia despite the wide-open desert setting.

Don’t Worry Darling (2022) is a visually arresting psychological thriller that ultimately feels like a high-concept "Black Mirror" episode stretched thin over two hours.

Once again, Pugh carries the film. Her transition from blissful housewife to frantic skeptic is visceral and grounded, providing the emotional weight the script often lacks.
