During a "Silent Reflection" hike, Kelli accidentally eats an entire bag of "medicated" dried mangoes and starts narrating everyone’s deepest insecurities at full volume. She yells at Issa: "You’re so scared of failing as an adult that you’re forgetting to be a person!"

This leads to a massive blowout between Issa and Molly. Issa accuses Molly of being performatively perfect, and Molly tells Issa she’s using her "struggle" as a personality trait because she’s scared of actually succeeding.

Issa, feeling the pressure to be a "Boss CEO," spends the whole weekend hiding in the bathroom trying to come up with a pitch for a major city contract. She starts hallucinating her younger, "Awkward Black Girl" self in the mirror, who is roasting her for wearing $200 leggings while her bank account is still "disrespectful."
