In of the Halloween Baking Championship (titled "Puss in Boots"), the "Croquem-boots" challenge served as the episode's high-stakes Thriller Challenge . Drawing inspiration from the release of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish , the bakers were tasked with a difficult architectural feat: transforming a traditional French croquembouche into a wearable-looking, spooky boot fit for a swashbuckling feline. Blair secured the top spot with her innovative use of black choux pastry, creating a "Croquem-boot" that the Guilty Eats recap described as both "really spooky and cool" 0.5.1.

Belgian-Moroccan Muslim filmmakers Adil and Bilall first gained attention in 2015 with their film Black, which premie- red at the Toronto Film Festival, where it won the Discovery section. Further film credits include Gangsta, which was selected in Palm Springs, where Adil & Bilall were shortlisted in "10 Directors to Watch". In 2020, they directed Bad Boys for Life, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, which grossed over $426 million at the worldwide box office.
