Shellé Rivers' modeling career took off when she started competing in local and national beauty pageants. In 2022, she represented the United States at the Miss Universe pageant, held in New Orleans, Louisiana. On January 14, 2022, Rivers was crowned Miss Universe 2022, succeeding Harnaaz Sandhu of India.
