You are woken up by Sir Pupset, a rude but helpful training dummy. Upon visiting the local tavern, you learn that a wicked witch is terrorizing the kooky townsfolk and has stolen the tavern owner's precious "Wendy".

Because you start out incredibly weak, the "story" is driven by a loop of intense training in minigames (melee, archery, blocking, dodging, and soulcery) to grow strong enough to clear the map's combat challenges and take down the witch. Swords & Souls: Neverseen
