He spent hours obsessing over the curve of a highway off-ramp, ensuring the traffic flowed like blood through a healthy heart. He placed every tree by hand, built a university overlooking a sapphire lake, and banned heavy industry near the residential zones.

He left the game running. The city of New Hope continued to hum, imperfect and alive, while Minh finally stepped out into the real one.
