Switch to the S.M.A.R.T. tab and click "Get S.M.A.R.T." to view the drive's health status (e.g., "Good" or "Bad"). Run Scan: Go to the Tests tab: Click Scan (or Start ) to begin a surface test.

Overwrites bad blocks with zeros to attempt recovery, though this destroys any data in those blocks.

For full access to hardware functions, always right-click the executable and select "Run as Administrator".
