The story follows , Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite corgi, who enjoys a life of ultimate luxury within Buckingham Palace. His world is turned upside down during a royal visit from U.S. President Donald Trump, whose own corgi, Mitzi, takes an aggressive (and unrequited) liking to him. After a series of mishaps leads to Rex embarrassing the Queen, he is lured away from the palace by a jealous rival and finds himself lost in the rough streets of London.
