Elora’s capture and subsequent escape attempt provide the episode’s most tense moments. We’re starting to see the "Future Empress" peek through the "Kitchen Maid" persona. Her connection to nature and magic is unique, and the visual effects during her spell-casting moments are some of the best in the series so far.

The journey to the Shattered Sea just got a whole lot bloodier. After the slow-burn buildup of the first two episodes, throws our motley crew into their first real gauntlet.
